ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Hello! I’m Seth Caron, the proud owner and head instructor at Enlisted Nine Fight Company-Hagerstown. My journey in jiu jitsu began in July 2004 when I had the privilege of training under Royler Gracie Black Belt, JW Wright, in Missouri, my home state. This early experience laid a strong foundation for my passion and dedication to martial arts. I knew right away that I wanted to do this full time and become a black belt instructor and school owner.
In 2008, I took a significant step by joining the United States Air Force (USAF), where I served until 2016. My time in the USAF was not just a period of serving my country, but also an opportunity to deepen my martial arts practice. While stationed at Andrews AFB in Maryland, and after trying many schools in the area, I joined Calvert MMA (Team Relson Gracie). It was here that I achieved major milestones in my martial arts career, receiving my blue, purple, brown, and ultimately, my black belt, each symbolizing years of dedication, learning, and growth.
In 2024, my martial arts journey took an exciting turn as I began training with Colton Smith, the winner of The Ultimate Fighter Season 16, and Rich Pasinski from Enlisted Nine Fight Company in Virginia. Inspired by this new chapter, I embarked on a new venture by opening Enlisted Nine Fight Company-Hagerstown. This step represents not just a personal achievement, but a commitment to share my knowledge, experience, and passion for martial arts with others.
At Enlisted Nine Fight Company-Hagerstown, we are more than just a gym; we are a community dedicated to the growth, development, and success of each individual who walks through our doors. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, my team and I are here to support you in your martial arts journey.
Welcome to our family. Let’s train together, grow together, and succeed together.
